End of the World Near?

i am wondering how many people out there still believe that in the next 100 years or so that this world/earth is going to be destroyed?.

my husband is a christian, and sometimes he is obsessed with world events in the middle east and he thinks one day soon all the christians are going to be raptured away to heaven while the antichrist rules here on earth.

i am extremely uncomfortable when he talks about it because it reminds me of the jws.. any thoughts out there?

to a kh service just to see what it's like?

is it even permissable - would i need 'clearance' from someone?

i've never been a dub and have absolutely no interest in studying with them, but i've come to know some exjws on jwd and consider many here to be friends.

Undecided. It varies from case to case.

In case of pregnancy resulting from rape, abuse, or incest, definitely for it. In cases where it's well established that birth defects will bring poor quality of life, definitely for it.

Let's say I had a drug addict daughter that got pregnant and was running the streets looking for drugs. I'd have her get an abortion, and if I had my say in it, I'd have her sterilized too. Same in the case of people that due to their mental of physical challenge cannot care for themselves, much less will they care for a baby.

It all sounds cold, I know. It's my reality.

help my mother is brainwashing my 10 yr old

ughhhhh, i left "the truth" when i was 16 i had my daughter when i was 18. while is was finishing college my mother watched my daughter for me , so they are very very close.

well whenever my daughter goes to visit usualy about a week at a time my mother takes her to the hall .

she fills her head with the doctrine and tells her that ill say bad things about it and scares her into not telling me about it .

a hundred years ago or so, when women did not all look the same and screech like ancient hinges, and strip malls were just a nightmare in a squirrels mind, i wrote a jazz column for a newspaper.

it did not last long as i was eaten up by the wt and became a regular pioneer with an irregular notion and a pile of scruffy s8's.. .

i well remember one issue in which i took great exception to a comment made by duke ellington which seemed to me to be far to general and subjective to make much sense.

M.E (chronic fatigue)...the jehovahs witness disease

a congregation here in the uk had so many cases of m.e (chronic fatigue) that it was labelled as the jehovahs witness disease.

i must say that in my old cong.

and locally in other congs., there was an abnormally high percentage of people with this problem.why do you think this was the case?????

all my life i was a good christian person, then after getting df'd i entertained the idea to do all manner of formerly forbidden activities, since everyone thought i was going to the devil anyway.
